The techs are the best, very polite and friendly, knowledgeable and super effective, in doing what they do to get me back on track with our laptops and printers. STEP 12: When the file transfer in the Command Prompt window says “100%” you will know that the file has finished downloading. STEP 11: Hit the key, then wait for the download to begin. STEP 10: In the Command window that opens up, type the command “wget -c” then paste in the URL you have copied from Chrome. STEP 9: Now, navigate to chrome:\\downloads in your browser, right-click on the download, then select the option Copy link address. STEP 8: Hold the key, then click on the white blank space on the window that has the copied partial download, and then select the option Open command window here. STEP 7: When prompted with a warning that changing the file name extension may cause the file to become unstable, click Yes. STEP 6: Delete the “.crdownload” from the end of the partially downloaded file. STEP 5: Paste the partially downloaded file into the /Bin directory, which is inside of the Wget folder you have just installed. STEP 4: Find the partially downloaded file, then copy it. NOTE: It should not go into the Programs folder since you will need to move files to it. STEP 2: Change the destination folder of the installed files when installing Wget. STEP 1: Download the Wget, which is an application made for downloading files from web servers.
NOTE: Do not close your Chrome browser since doing it will delete the file’s partial download you have made.
